Several faculty members were recognized for their research excellence and contributions to various societies and institutions. Here are some recent awardees:
Professor Pai-Yen Chen was named a Fulbright Fellow, Distinguished Lecturer of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Antennas and Propagation Society, elected Fellow Member of the Optics Society of America, and elevated to a Fellow of IEEE.
Richard and Loan Hill Professor Natasha Devroye was elected second vice president of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Information Theory Society.
Professor Danilo Erricolo was presented with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Antennas and Propagation Society Outstanding Researcher Award.
Associate Professor Thomas A. Searles was inducted as the 55th fellow of the National Society of Black Physicists.
Professor Amit R. Trivedi one of 10 researchers worldwide to receive Intel’s 2024 Outstanding Researcher awards.
